Job Description: Team Leader
Responsible to: Registered Care Manager
Responsible for: Team of Personal Assistants, team of Service Users
As one of Edinburgh’s leading providers of home care, Social Care Alba delivers a wide range of care services which help people to stay in their own homes for longer. We are looking for a Team Leader to join our exciting, friendly and dynamic team.

What we are looking for
Essential
· Previous experience in a similar position, including conducting reviews, assessments and personal plans for Service Users, preparing and managing staff rotas, participating in the on-call rota
· Previous experience in managing and supervising staff
· Previous experience in providing support within a busy environment
· SVQ3 in Social Services and Healthcare or an equivalent degree in Health or Social Care
· Knowledge and understanding of risk management, health and safety and best practices within health & social care sector
· Detail oriented, fast learner and an active listener to work under pressure
· Self-motivated and able to work as part of a dynamic team with initiative
· Good interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to communicate in excellent English across different audiences
· Good accuracy, adaptability and attention to detail skills
· Good I.T. skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
· Excellent time management, planning and organising skills
