Support Worker - Spinal Injury

Complex Care experience?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to provide care
to our service user, at her home in Sutton Coldfield.
Our ideal applicant will be passionate, dedicated, enjoy delivering one to one
care and be able to build positive relationships with our service users and
their families.
Our service user is a lovely lady who lives with her family in her specially
adapted home.
She is very sociable and enjoys keeping in touch with her friends and family.
She also regularly attends her local church and likes to meet here with members
of the local community.
During the day you will be supporting with household tasks such as, domestic
duties and meal preparation, as well as managing her post, diary management and
accompanying her to medical appointments.
We are also able to offer night shifts where you will be responsible for
ensuring our service users comfort, promoting a good night’s sleep and carrying
out clinical interventions when required.
Please note, it would be advantageous if you hold a UK Driving Licence.
Essential Experience Required-
6 months previous care experience

Medication Administration

Personal Care

Moving and Handling
-
Driver with access to a vehicle
Desirable Experience-
Cathether Care

Bowel Care
-
Autonomic Dysreflexia knowledge
We have the following shifts available;

Nights - 10pm to 7am
-
Days - Shift times can vary (average 30 hours per week)
