Bethphage are excited to start recruiting for our fantastic new service based in Shrewsbury. 

We are looking for a full time and casual support workers to join our fantastic person centred support team providing 1:1 support to a gentleman who has cerebral Palsy and learning disabilities.  

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is proactive and is looking for a new challenge and will be passionate about delivering first class support.

The position is best suited to people with a great sense of humour, energy, enthusiasm and an understanding of the barriers associated with various types of disabilities. 

You will be supporting the individual to with meal preparation, personal care, domestic tasks and accessing the community. You will also be required to be able to use a hoist for which training will be provided.  

Sleep in will be required as part of the role.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving License 
  • Own Car 
  • Previous experience of supporting individuals with complex care.  

Desirable requirements

  • Level 2 Health and Social Care 
  • Level 2 Learning Disability Qualification 
  • Experience of supporting someone with visual impairments.  
  • Qualifications in learning Disability Awareness
