Job description
•The Care Coordinator is responsible for the effective management and supervision of Care workers and supporting the Service Manager to ensure excellent provision of service to our customers, clients, and colleagues daily.
•The Care Coordinator will ensure compliance with national standards of care and using effective rostering to fully utilize staff hours and drive employee engagement.
•The Care Co-Ordinator should demonstrate the ability to use their initiative, multi-task, have excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure. They should be professional, polite, and attentive, whilst also being accurate and should be able to represent the business positively at a senior level, both internally and externally. The role is diverse, fast paced, challenging. The right candidate should have an I can do attitude and will be being responsible for care delivery and continuity of care for All Care Services Ltd.
•The candidate should always conduct him/herself in a manner as to justify public trust and confidence, to uphold and enhance the good standing and reputation of the profession in accordance to the SSSC.

Main responsibilities
•To ensure effective day to day running of homecare service including rostering delivered to all ensuring all shifts are covered and you are expected to provide emergency shift cover.
•Responsible for all aspects of service scheduling 6 weeks in advance, holiday cover and sickness absence supported by the service manager.
• Manage service suspension/restarts following hospital admissions/ restart sending relevant paperwork to the reliever authority.
•Profile all care staff’s availability and communicate preferences to achieve best outcome.
•Upload all local authority paperwork to care files on CarePlanner and Birdie.
•Update absence spreadsheet.
•Allocate new runs and enter paperwork to system.
•Participate in out of hours rota devised by management - completing out of hours report.
•Communicate care worker/service user concerns or issues to responsible compliance coordinator.
•Complete and unallocated report at end of each working day to ensure service provision is in place.
•Develop and maintain good communication records for the client, service users, staff, and colleagues.
•Maintain a detailed working knowledge of the homecare sector by attending relevant external meetings/workshops.
•Ensure compliance with company’s recruitment selection, following the Employment Compliance procedure.
•Collate data and maintain staff and service user files, ensuring confidentiality.
•Ensure compliance with SSSC Code of Practice and Health and Social Care Standards for Care at Home (Care Inspectorate.
•Always maintain confidentiality of the Company and adhere to GDPR regulations.
Essential
•SVQ level 3/4 or HNC Health and Social Care
•2 years’ experience working in a care setting
•Valid driver’s license and access to a car
Shift Pattern: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Alternate Weekends.
