About the role
We are looking for a qualified Clinical Registered Manager who has prior experience being registered with CQC, experience managing residential/nursing homes and a motivational leader who can drive a team to perform at the highest possible levels, who is quality focused and will strive to achieve glowing reports with the CQC.
About the home
The Hurst Nursing Home is a 20-bed nursing home located in the west Tarring district of Worthing of the A259 Mill Road. We offer person-centred care to our residents with a focus on promoting independent living and support where needed to meet each individual resident’s care needs.
Job Description
Those working as a registered manager must be highly motivated and should have robust skills in leadership, decision making, multi-tasking and communication. They are in charge of a number company responsibilities and must ensure that the organisation is meeting its strategic goals effectively. He or she must do so through efficient use of all available resources and personnel.
Responsibilities include:
Work Schedule, Pay and Holiday Entitlement
- This would be a for a 40 hour/week (Mon-Fri 9-5pm)
- Salary of £35,000-42,500 depending on experience
- 28 days holiday annually
The Registered Manager must have
· A clinical qualification in nursing is essential
· QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management/Registered Managers Award/NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care
· Prior experience as Registered Manager of Residential/Nursing care homes
· Strong staff management skills
· Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and regulatory requirements
· Enthusiasm, passion and determination to achieve Outstanding and deliver the highest quality person centred care.
