SCA is a multi award winning Care at Home company based in Edinburgh.  We are looking for a dynamic, skilled, empathetic and experienced Care Manager to join our team.

Based in our Edinburgh office you would be responsible for the the continued growth and success of the company, whilst ensuring our company values are maintained. 

Qualification required: 

                Degree or equivalent in a Health or Social Care specialism

                SVQ 4 or equivalent in Management and Leadership

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include

 

Managing all staff within the Care Department, ensuring effective staff:

·        Learning & development
·        Supervision & performance
·        Mentorship & sharing of skills and knowledge
·        Liaison with the Scottish Social Services Council
·        Use of best practise and research throughout the company
·        Planning with HR and Admin departments to support growth
 

Managing the delivery of support to all service users, ensuring effective and timeous:

·        Delivery of direct care and support
·        Handling of emergency on-call issues
·        Liaison with the Care Inspectorate and EHSCP
·        Assessments, plans, reviews and audits of support
·        Reporting of Incidents, accidents, or complaints
 

Managing workflow across the Care Department, including:

·         Participating in the on-call rota
·         Managing risk, health and safety
·         Updating electronic records including rotas
·         Completing admin tasks on time, every time
·         Leading, attending, and contributing to meetings
·         Efficiently drive business growth and development
·         Leading in the creation of the Annual Improvement Plan
